Due to security requirements (see Security) all personnel and vehicle access by land and sea is restricted to authorised access only, requiring that all persons must be signed in and out of Northports facility.
For all port users entering the port on a regular basis on port related business, may apply for a port access card (see below). All port users that do not have a port user card must be checked through the Security Gatehouse (unless previously organised with the Port Facilities Security Manager).
All visitors must be checked through our security gatehouse.
To obtain an access card, the application form below must be completed and sent back to Northport and the terms and conditions read. Please be aware that by filling in the application requires a security check to be under taken and your application can be refused.
All users requiring regular vehicle access to enter the port must complete a Vehicle Access Form. All users are given a copy of the current Traffic Management Plan and Driver Induction Notice.

Approved Access Sticker Rules - Introduced November 2011
Northport has introduced an 'approved access sticker system' in order to provide an improved means of controlling passenger vehicle access to various areas within Northport site and reduce the amount of traffic around the log yard and berth apron when vessels are working.
