(35° 53.5'S., 174° 34.3'E) i.e. No closer than 1 mile ESE of Fairway Buoy

FOUL GROUND

Vessels should not anchor withina circle one mile radius centred on position 35° 54.6'S., 174° 33.3'E as the area is foul with a rocky bottom.

14.0 WEATHER

The prevailing wind is south westerly. Occasional strong north easterlies occur near the end of the summer. Fog effecting shipping operations is limited to 2 - 3 days per annum.
