Sir John Goulter KNZM, JP - Chairman Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd and Northport Ltd Chairman

Sir John is former Managing Director of Auckland International Airport Ltd. He is a former Chairman of the New Zealand Lotteries Commission and United Carriers Group, as well as being a former Director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Television New Zealand and Vector Ltd. He is currently Chairman of Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd, Metro Performance Glass Ltd and The New Zealand Business and Parliament Trust.

In 2003 he was inducted as a Laureate into the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame and was appointed a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Business and the Community. In 2009 his re-designation as a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit was advised by Her Majesty the Queen.

Mark Cairns - Port of Tauranga Chief Executive and Northport Ltd Director

Mark Cairns has been Chief Executive of Port of Tauranga Limited since 2005.  Prior to joining Port of Tauranga, he was Chief Executive of C3 Limited (formerly Toll Owens Limited) for five years.  He is a Director of Northport Limited and Quality Marshalling Limited. He was appointed to the Board of Meridian Energy Limited in July 2012.

Mark has a First Class Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, a degree in Business Studies and a Master of Management. He is a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, a member of the Institute of Directors and a member of LEADR (accredited mediator).

Graham Wallace - Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd Chief Executive and Northport Ltd Director

Graham Wallace was appointed Chief Executive of Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd in May 2012 and joined the Board of Northport Ltd in October 2012.  He is also a director of North Tugz Ltd, a company jointly owned by Northport Ltd and Ports of Auckland. 

He has had an association with Marsden Maritime Holdings (previously known as Northland Port Corporation (NZ) Ltd) since 1993 having held various finance related roles during this time and was closely involved in the original establishment of Northport Ltd.

Graham is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants and also a member of the Institute of Directors.

David Pilkington - Northport Ltd Director

David Pilkington was a member of Fonterra's senior executive team. He holds Directorships in Ballance Agri-Nutrients Limited, Douglas Pharmaceuticals Limited, Restaurant Brands NZ Limited and ZESPRI Group Limited.

Mr Pilkington chairs Hellers and is Deputy Chairman of Rangatira Limited. He has a strong background in marketing, international business and supply chain logistics. He joined the Board of Port of Tauranga Ltd in July 2005.
