Mr Mitten’s holding company, Welcon Investments Ltd invests in New Zealand businesses and also provides consultancy to public organisations on economic development and business strategy. Mr Mitten is also a Board member of his local school. Mr Mitten is considered to be an Independent Director

Mr Griffiths is a director New Zealand Diving and Salvage Ltd and subsidiaries, deputy chair of Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand
and a director of Aotea Energy Holdings Ltd and associated companies. He is also a director on New Zealand Oil and Gas Ltd and associated companies as well as Wanganui Gas Ltd and associated companies.

He is also a former managing director and general manager of BP Oil NZ

Mark Cairns has been Chief Executive of Tauranga Limited since 2005.  Prior to joining Port of Tauranga, he was Chief Executive of C3 Limited (formerly Toll Owens Limited) for five years and is now a Director of C3.  He is also Chairman of North Tugz Limited, Tapper Transport and MetroPack Limited.  Mark has a First Class Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, a degree in Business Studies and is a Master of Management.  He is a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, a member of the Institute of Directors and a member of LEADR (accredited mediator).
